Earth Angel – A Retro-Inspired Knit with Earthy Charm
Earth Angel is a beginner-friendly sweater with a cute, retro fit and an earthy texture that echoes the its namesake song. It’s a bottom-up knit with a square neckline, simple short-row bust shaping, and minimal seaming—designed to be as relaxing to make as it is to wear.
Worked on 7mm & 8mm needles, this is an ideal project for “TV-knitting,” but it also offers an easy introduction to some foundational techniques like the tubular cast-on and bind-off, centered double decreases, and double knitting around the trim.
Knit in Noro Silk Garden Sock Solo with a contrast rib in Noro Silk Garden, this pattern is also easy to customize with any yarn that matches gauge. The result is a soft, wearable knit with a vintage silhouette and grounded, organic texture.

XS (30”) – 105g MC, 30g CC
S (34”) – 115g MC, 33g CC
M (38”) – 135g MC, 40g CC

XL (46”) – 180g MC, 55g CC
